Temasek exits home textiles maker Welspun India with huge haircut

Singapore government’s sovereign fund Temasek has completely exited home textiles maker Welspun India Ltd by selling its entire stake for Rs 56 crore ($10.2 million) on Monday. Temasek sold its 11.6 per cent stake on the Bombay Stock Exchange through its arms. The investment firm, which still holds shares in two demerged arms of Welspun, is exiting the seven-year-old investment with nearly 50 per cent haircut.
