Suzlon April-June Net Loss At Rs 4.53 Bn

Wind turbine maker Suzlon Energy said on Saturday it posted a consolidated net loss of 4.53 billion rupees ($94.6 million) in the April-June quarter.

The company posted a net profit of 93 million rupees in the same quarter a year ago.

Total income in the June quarter was 41.71 billion rupees, 33.3 percent up from 31.29 billion rupees a year ago.

On Friday, Suzlon shares closed 0.55 percent higher at 99.75 rupees on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
