SaaS startup eureQa raises $600K from Gabriel Investments

11 December, 2015

Hyderabad-based eureQa LLC, a test automation software-as-a-service (SaaS) startup, has raised seed funding of $600,000 (around Rs 4 crore) from Gabriel Investments, a Philadelphia based venture fund.

As a part of the investment, Sashi Reddi, investment partner at Gabriel, will join eureQa’s board of directors.

Founded in 2012 by Badri Nittoor and Bari Chittamuri, EureQa is a wholly owned subsidiary of US-based Tripod Technologies LLC.

“eureQa offers a compelling value proposition to enterprise application teams to do test automation without being bogged down by having to write code. For a small fee per month, companies can get going in just a few days,” said Sashi Reddi, who is also managing partner at SRI Capital.

Other players in the test autamation space include Noida-based Bqurious, Pune-based technology startup Qualitia Software Pvt Ltd and AppLabs Technology Pvt Ltd. In the software testing space, test automation helps ensure desired quality index of software products and applications in the shortest possible time.
