Promeet Ghosh joins Temasek India as managing director

Singapore government’s sovereign fund Temasek has hired Promeet Ghosh, the former M&A head of Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BoAML), as managing director in India. He will be the first MD level appointment for Temasek in the country in recent months after the sovereign fund lost two top executives in India including its former country chief besides another MD in 2011.
