Our goal is to optimise the unit economics, says Haptik CEO Aakrit Vaish

05 July, 2016

A number of personal assistant apps such as Goodservice, Helpchat, Haptik, Niki.ai and MagicX have attracted investors in recent months. These chat-based concierge services providers are increasingly depending on artificial intelligence and are employing chat bots to reduce human intervention.

Haptik, which recently raised its Series B round of investment from Kalaari Capital and Times Internet, believes that chat concierge services can work only with a mixture of humans and bots, rather than a complete dependence on one.

In an interaction with VCCircle, Haptik co-founder and CEO Aakrit Vaish talks about how it plans to make money, the future of bots and the possibility of one app replacing multiple apps.
