Naresh Patwari moves from ICICI Venture to join TA Associates as director

Private equity firm TA Associates has appointed Naresh Patwari at its Mumbai office as a director effective September 1. Patwari will focus on investments in growth companies in India and other emerging markets.

Prior to joining TA Associates, Patwari served as a principal at ICICI Venture and previously as a vice president, leading deal sourcing, due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio management for investments in the consumer/retail, media, healthcare and energy sectors. He was previously an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company where he advised senior management and strategic and financial investors on topics such as portfolio mix, growth strategy, M&A, operating model, strategic planning and incentives. 

Patwari received a B Tech, with honors, in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, and an MBA from The Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, as an Edward Tuck Scholar with Distinction.
