Kaizen invests in Altus Learning; Closes debut fund

Kaizen Private Equity LLC, India’s first education-focused PE fund, has picked up an undisclosed stake by investing Rs 25 crore ($4.5 million) in Altus Learning Private Limited. The Ahmedabad-based firm is involved in providing management and other services from playschools to K-12 segment. Jetu Lalvani, executive director at Kaizen, will join the board of Altus.
