New York-based interviewing platform JustCode has acquired Bengaluru-based Jobspire Technologies Pvt. Ltd, which operates hiring portal Jobspire, for an undisclosed amount, the Indian firm said in a statement.

JustCode is run by TurnToTech which is a mobile boot camp that offers project-based courses for iOS and Android development.

With the acquisition, JustCode aims to extend its operations in India and strengthen its core products for employers. Post acquisition, Jobspire’s core products will be integrated with JustCode.

Founded by Manipal Institute of Technology alumni Mohak Dhingra, Kartik Luke Singh, Sandesh Kini and Varun Mayya in August 2014, Jobspire provides online job recruitment solutions including sourcing, matching, decision-making and tracking for Indian startups.

It helps startups and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) create company profiles, allowing them to visually describe their work environment and talk about growth plans. It also allows candidates to showcase capabilities by completing quick challenges instead of applying with a CV.

“The recruiter market in the US is much more mature. Justcode will be an incarnation of Jobspire with a ‘close-to-real-life’ version of testing developers which is a great value to most recruiters,” Mayya said.
