India’s Britannia To Buy NZ Partner’s Stake In Unit

India’s top biscuit maker, Britannia Industries Ltd, said on Tuesday it signed a deal with its New Zealand partner to acquire the remaining 49 percent in a unit.

Britannia would buy the holding from Fonterra Brands and make diary products maker Britannia New Zealand Foods Pvt Ltd a wholly owned subsidiary, the compay said in a statement.

Financial details were not disclosed.
