IFC eyes $75M stake in listed NBFC

International Finance Corporation (IFC) is looking to invest $75 million or Rs 400 crore in an unnamed public-listed NBFC (non-banking financial company). Without disclosing the name of the firm, the World Bank’s private sector investment arm said that it would be investing in the company or its subsidiary through equity or a quasi-equity instrument. The deal could be the single largest equity commitment made by IFC in India till date.
