IFC converts remaining FCCBs of Apollo Hospitals

International Finance Corporation (IFC) is converting its remaining FCCBs of Apollo Hospital Enterprises Ltd (India’s largest hospital company by market value) for a little over 1 per cent stake. The World Bank arm will book a profit of over two times on its three-year-old investment besides getting more shares due to the depreciation in Indian currency.
