IDG To Float Growth & Mezzanine Fund For India

In an exclusive interview with VCCircle, Patrick McGovern, Founder and

Chairman of International Data Group, said that they plan to launch an

IDG growth and mezzanine strategy for India by 2013-14. He said that the

size of the growth fund will be in the vicinity of $300-400 million

which will invest into relatively mature companies. Apart from a growth

fund, it is also planning to launch a mezzanine strategy which will

take pre-IPO positions in companies.
