A growing number of foreign investors are entering India but domestic corporate and institutional investors have largely stayed away from alternative investment funds. The investor pool, so far, has been limited to big players only including Reliance Industries, Infosys and Wipro.

A panel of top executives at private equity firms at the News Corp VCCircle Limited Partners Summit 2017, held in Mumbai earlier this month, sought to decipher ways of selling the alternative investment fund story to domestic investors, especially cash-rich companies.
