The government as well as banks and fintech companies have been trying to promote digital transactions and curb usage of cash. But many people remain wary, due partly to privacy concerns, data theft and other risks. What can companies and government do to tackle these risks and ease such concerns? IFMR Holdings CFO Puneet Gupta and Rajnish Khare, head of digital transformation and mobility banking at HDFC Bank Ltd, discussed the issues during a fireside chat at News Corp VCCircle Payments Forum 2017, held in Mumbai last month.
