Delhi-headquartered financial advisory services firm BMR Advisors said on Friday that it has expanded its team of partners and executive directors by adding six members namely Parul Jain, K Sivarajan, Kaustuv Sen, Puneet Bansal, Sumeet Hemkar and Vishal Agarwal. The new appointments will come into effect from April 1, 2014.
As part of the expansion, the company has added partners and executive directors in direct and indirect taxes across its offices in New Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai and Chennai. Each of the incoming partners and executive directors has over a decade of professional experience in leading teams and serving clients, it said.
“The expansion will help us address growing client needs with technical expertise and deepen our firm’s partner coverage as we continue to grow the firm,” Mukesh Butani, chairman of BMR Advisors, said.
Founded in 2004, BMR Advisors provides M&A, disinvestment, capital structuring, buyback, due diligence and business valuation advisory services. The firm employs more than 450 professionals and has offices in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai and Singapore.
It caters to energy, infrastructure, financial markets, technology and communications, real estate, media and entertainment and retail sectors.
Last year, it had expanded its team of partners by including Ashish Gulati, Kalpesh Desai, Shivani Nagpaul and Sanjiv Malhotra, taking the total number of partners to 30.
