At a time when most investment bankers are fretting over the slower pace of deal-making, Sourav Mallik, the senior executive director and head of mergers & acquisitions at Kotak Mahindra Capital Company’s investment banking business, is one of the few optimistic i-bankers in India. In an exclusive interview with VCCircle, Mallik points out that the deal activity is picking up in the first quarter of the current financial year and the uptick in deal-making is going forward.
