Boutique investment bank Equirus Capital has roped in Vineet Toshniwal as director to lead the i-banking practice areas of engineering, discrete manufacturing and services. With this senior level recruitment, Equirus is looking at strengthening its presence in South and start building business in North, it said in a statement.
Prior to joining Equirus, Vineet Toshniwal successfully founded Private Equity Gateway in 2008 and closed interesting transactions in the PE and M&A space. Toshniwal has completed his MBA (Finance) from Faculty of Management Studies , Delhi and is a B.Tech in mechanical stream from National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, MP.
Equirus Capital Pvt Ltd, founded in 2007, operates in the mid-market segment with presence in Bangalore, Mumbai, New York and London.
