ValuePro International Pvt Ltd, a Bangalore-based company that offers facility management, employee transportation, and supply chain management solutions, is acquiring city-based indoor plants company Gardenia Ornamental, for an undisclosed amount.
The acquisition will enable ValuePro to provide indoor plants solutions to its existing as well as new clients, its director and CEO Santosh Kumar Singh told VCCircle.
The deal is expected to be signed in the first week of January.
“We cannot disclose the transaction details, since we have signed a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) with Gardenia,” said Singh. “Post-acquisition, Gardenia and its team will be part of ValuePro. Going forward, we will integrate its business with ValuePro,” Singh added.
The three-year-old ValuePro was set up by a group of friends—Singh, Sanjib Banik, Vishnu Galla and Santosh Kanaran. Singh is an MBA in Marketing and also holds a PG in portfolio management, while Banik is a PG in Marketing from Institute of Management Technology (Ghaziabad). Galla is an alumnus of Vellore Institute of Technology (Tamil Nadu) while Kanaran holds an MBA degree from Madras University and a PG Diploma in Supply Chain Management from the CII Institute of Logistics (Chennai).
ValuePro’s key offerings include facility management, employee transportation and in-plant logistics services. It has partnered with various companies (mainly IT firms) in the country to offer its services. ValuePro has offices in Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Nagpur, Vapi and Delhi.
The 20-year-old Gardenia offers indoor plants solutions to various companies in the country. The firm claims to have around 60 clients across verticals.
“Most indoor plants run by corporates are rented ones. Since we are already into facility management, this acquisition will help us extend our services to indoor plants. We will look to bring Gardenia’s clients as well as new clients on board,” added Singh.
