Educomp raising $50M from IFC, Proparco & Mount Kellett Capital

Educomp Solutions Ltd, India’s largest listed education company, has raised $155 million in financing through a mix of private equity, external commercial borrowings (ECBs) and foreign currency convertible bonds (FCCBs). The transaction includes a preferential allotment of up to $50 million to Mount Kellet Capital, Proparco and International Finance Corporation (IFC).
