At the recently concluded VCCircle India Limited Partners Summit 2014, prominent representatives of leading Indian political parties debated on the current political scenario and what is in store for politics and the economy in the coming months with elections for the Parliament around the corner.
The panel, moderated by Praveen Chakravarty, board member, Centre for Civil Society, brought out the view points of the main parties on the economic policy in general and also specific issues such as FDI in retail and e-commerce. The panellists included Sanjay Jha of Congress, Meera Sanyal of Aam Aadmi Party, Jayant Sinha of BJP (also former head of Omidyar Network in India) and Kumar Ketkar (chief Editor of Dainik Divya Marathi).
