Deutsche Bank Appoints Peter Pfister as Asian Private Equity Head

Deutsche Bank's private wealth management arm has appointed Peter Pfister as director of private equity investments for Asia Pacific. He will be responsible for origination, product development and distribution for private equity investments. He would report locally to Anurag Mahesh, head of global investments services in the Asia Pacific, and globally to Marco Bizzozero Deutsche Bank’s global head of private equity investments. Pfister will move from Zurich to Singapore.

 

The bank’s private equity group offers investment opportunities to high net worth individuals (HNIs) as well as to institutional invetors. The group manages $3.3 billion as of December end. The group has 24 bankers in Zurich, Geneva, New York, Baltimore and Singapore.

The bank’s private wealth unit has made another senior appointment. It has appointed Christian Nolting as regional head of portfolio management and lead strategist in Asia Pacific. Nolting will also be based on Singapore and will head the team that advices Deutsche Bank's Asia Pacific Private Wealth Management clients on investment strategy, portfolio construction and asset allocation. Nolting has been working with Deutsche bank since 1991 and was earlier the chief investment officer for Euroland at the private wealth management unit of the bank.
