As the head of the real estate group at financial services firm Centrum Capital Ltd, Ajay Jain sees a slew of property deals pass through his table every day. As an adviser to banks, private equity funds, non-banking finance companies and developers in the real estate sector, he takes keen interest in the developments that directly or indirectly impact the sector. Jain speaks to VCCircle on the impact of the Narendra Modi government’s decision to ban old high-value notes, challenges the sector faces and how the property market will fare in 2017.
