Cybernet-SlashSupport (CSS) Corporation, a US-based remote infrastructure management and technology support services company with significant operational presence in India, has acquired Aliquo Solutions Limited, a niche IT consulting firm focused on IT transformation in UK.

CSS is a private equity-backed company with investments from SAIF Partners, Goldman Sachs and Sierra Ventures. The acquisition follows CSS’ two earlier buys -- Glow Networks Inc and an arm of InteQ Inc in the US. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Following this deal, Todd Whaley and Stephen Craike, the founders and heads of Aliquo's Europe and Australasia, and Asia, respectively, will join CSS board. Besides, Tony Redding, who is also a director at Aliquo, will join as senior vice president of Global Strategic Projects at CSS, added the statement. Aliquo offers program and project management, technology integration, service optimisation, infrastructure management and advisory services.

The deal strengthens CSS' capabilities within its enterprise IT services division. It also expands its presence in European and Australian markets, and has brought in 12 new customers in its fold.

CSS plans to leverage Aliquo's off-shoring advisory and execution experience to compliment its global delivery capabilities.

“Now, not only can global CIOs rely on CSS to optimise their IT operations but can also trust CSS with their strategic IT transformation initiatives,” Nick Sharma, CEO, CSS, said, in the statement.

We are confident that this unification will result in immediate benefits to our current and future client bases and ensure that CSS' Enterprise business becomes one of the most influential in our target markets.”

CSS is headquartered in California and has its main development centre in Chennai, besides centers in USA, Poland and the Philippines. It currently has over 80 customers including Alcatel-Lucent, Sun Microsystems, and Blackboard Inc.
