Cricketer Yuvraj Singh-backed co-working space provider Creator’s Gurukul has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from existing and new investors.

Existing investors Rohit Nanda, who is based in Singapore, and Smarak Bhuyan, who is based out of Bay Area, California, among others, participated in the latest round. Besides, it is going live with its first flagship centre in Millennium City, Gurugram, it said

“The nature of work and the demands of the workforce are evolving rapidly. In order to cater to new age workspace requirements, we have added fresh layers to our product mix. We will be unveiling multiple centres in Gurugram, Delhi, Faridabad and Noida,” said Yuvraj Singh, partner and brand ambassador.

“Creator’s Gurukul creates an environment where budding entrepreneurs can collaborate with like-minded individuals and teams,” said Sandeepan Senapati.

Yuvraj Singh launched $10-million seed-stage fund YouWeCan in 2015 to back internet startups in the country. YouWeCan’s portfolio companies include business solution provider Startup Buddy, logistics startup Moovo, healthcare startup Healthians, online marketplace for chartered jets JetSetGo, automotive service marketplace Cartisan and sports startup SportyBeans.

The concept of co-working spaces has been gaining momentum in India. In June 2017, co-working startup BHIVE raised $1.2 million in fresh funding led by existing investor Blume Ventures.
