Citi India's Global Consumer Group has appointed Muge Yuzuak as the Head of Cards, India. In this role she will handle the cards business and will report to Country Business Manager, Global Consumer Group at Citi India, Anand Selva.
Muge has replaced Sandeep Bhalla who is now the retail banking head for Citi in India.
A graduate from Istanbul University, Faculty of Economics, Muge is rejoining Citi after having spent a decade long career with the banking group.
She joined Citi in 1995 with Citicards Turkey and was serving in the areas such as operations, marketing, sales, e-business, product management and innovation. From 2001 to 2005 she worked as e-business director and new product manager for Citicards, US, where she built online acquisitions and sales business.
She has been roped in from Transit Ventures in New York, where she was serving as Managing Director.
Speaking on her appointment Anand Selva said, "Muge has the ideal mix of developed and emerging markets experience that will be essential to building on our progress, expand our cards footprint and drive innovation.”
