Chief Strategist Of UBS In India Quits, Joins BNP Paribas Securities

Manishi Raychaudhuri, chief strategist of UBS in India, quit his post and joined BNP Paribas Securities today.

Raychaudhuri joined BNP as India head of equity research. He will be leading BNP Paribas Securities India’s 22 research team. A Ph.D in Operations Research and Finance from IIM-Calcutta, Raycaudhuri spent nine years in UBS prior to which he worked for three years with ICICI Securities.

“We are delighted to have Manishi join our team. He is an experienced professional with a solid track record who is well respected in the industry,” said Abhijit Raha, CEO, BNP Paribas Securities India.

BNP Paribas Securities Asia established their equities business in India with a strong securities research team in India in 2007. The operation was established as the second-largest research platform after the Hong Kong and China team within BNP Paribas Securities.
