Sanju Verma, managing director and CEO, Centrum Broking Pvt Ltd, who joined the firm only in July, has put in her papers and is believed to be headed to Brics Securities.

A senior official at Centrum Broking confirmed Sanju Verma's resignation but declined to divulge more on the reason for her exit. There is speculation in industry circles that her exit may have been due to differences with the promoters. VCCircle could not independently confirm the reasons for her exit and also her next move. Sanju Verma, who was Executive Director and Head of Institutional Business at HDFC Securities, the broking arm of HDFC Bank, joined Centrum in July following the resignation of her predecessor TS Bhaskaran from the post. Bhaskaran, who spent 12 years in institutional broking and equity research at ICICI Securities, had left Centrum within four months of joining and Verma has also left within the same timeframe.
