Snapdeal has now a major lead over other group buying sites in India in terms of capitalisation. However, Indian market is huge enough and it’s very early for any one company to get a lead over the other one. There is scope for more players, but the key is who signs up more merchants and then more customers.

I became a subscriber to snapdeal when I was looking for a car service deal. I got an attractive deal through them and later I made few other purchases and recommended the site to my colleagues. I am a tech enthusiast and read a lot on new technology platforms which influence public lives and I believe Snapdeal is one among them. Penetrating in Indian consumer sector via technology was always been dreamt opportunity for many, but hardly few could make mark. Marketing and value for money can lure an Indian customer and that can be made possible only few companies like Snapdeal, ebay and homeshopping18
