Bengaluru-based Njuta Technologies Pvt Ltd, which runs events marketplace Events High, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Axilor Ventures, it said in a statement.

The startup will use the funding to expand its organiser base and enhance user experience on its platform.

“We have 3,000 verified listings per city per month with 30% of this supply can directly be booked on the Events High platform. We have a large base of monthly active users that has grown three times over the last six months,” said Nikesh Garera, co-founder and CEO of Events High.

Batra did his master’s from Georgia Institute of Technology. He, along with Garera, also worked at Kosmix which was renamed as Walmart Labs after it was acquired by Walmart. Sarda previously worked at Google and Walmart Labs and has a master’s from Indian Institute of Science. Events High has a 22-member team.

Kris Gopalakrishnan, chairman of Axilor Ventures, said, “The fascinating thing about event marketplaces is that these are transitioning into communities and thriving ecosystems. Events High is unique as it is more than a listing platform. Being tech enabled, it has the potential to change the way events are consumed by users.”
