ASK Group’s Raman Iyer Joins TriVeda Capital as MD

TriVeda Capital, a Bangalore-based asset management and private equity firm, has appointed ASK Group’s Raman Iyer as managing director, the company said in a statement.

As managing director, Iyer’s role will involve overseeing the firm’s pan-India real estate activities including capital deployment, equity/debt financing, structured vehicles and third-party asset management. Though the company is currently active in the asset management space, it plans to launch a private equity fund soon.

“Raman is a proven leader with a broad base of capabilities in Indian real estate. We are thrilled to have him join TriVeda Capital and coordinate the firm’s efforts across real estate investing, financing and asset management,” said Raj S Inamdar, co-founder and managing director, TriVeda Capital.

“I look forward to supporting the firm’s upcoming real estate initiatives including structured debt financing, portfolio listing and domestic vehicle launch,” said Iyer.

Iyer will be at the helm of affairs in managing Century Real Estate’s joint development (JD) project vehicle in Bangalore, which includes 15 projects exceeding 500 acres to be developed over the next decade. He will also lead debt financing and coordinate a public equity offering for Century Real Estate’s JD vehicle.

Iyer brings to the table 17 years of real estate, asset management and project execution experience. As director at ASK Property Investment Advisors, he headed asset management across a portfolio of more than 12 projects exceeding 10 million sq ft across five major Indian cities. Prior to that, he was head of Asset Management at Walton Street India Real Estate Advisors Pvt Ltd, an affiliate of Walton Street Capital.
