Allen & Overy Lends Its Partner To Trilegal

As part of company’s plan to strengthen its position in the Indian market, UK based law firm Allen & Overy (A&O) has posted its capital markets partner Srinivas Parthasarathy at its Indian affiliate Trilegal’s Mumbai office. Parthasarathy is currently located at A&O’s Singapore office. He will join Trilegal's Mumbai office in October this year. Apart from developing Trilegal's capital markets team, he will be responsible for increasing cooperation between the two firms on banking, private equity and capital markets space.

Jonathan Brayne, group Chairman, A&O India, stated that this is a positive move for Allen & Overy-Trilegal relationship after the duo entered into a referral deal in early part of 2008. “Partha has been a key member of our India Group and his move will substantially enhance the collaboration between Allen & Overy and Trilegal,” said Brayne.

Parthasarathy said that he is delighted to lead Trilegal's capital markets practice to build up a top tier domestic capital markets practice, which will complement Allen & Overy's formidable
