Aditi Technologies Buys Infospace India

Aditi Technologies, a Bangalore-based company offering software products and application development services, is acquiring Infospace India Software Development Pvt Ltd for an undisclosed sum. 

Infospace is the Indian subsidiary of Nasdaq-listed Infospace Inc and is a developer of meta search and online consumer products, said a company statement.

Infospace India is engaged in online product development, software engineering and product testing space. It has a development centre  in Bangalore.

Pradeep Rathinam, CEO, Aditi Technologies, said, in the statement, “the acquisition of Infospace aligns well with our focus as it is a global technology leader in meta search products. India has become one of the key markets for us and we will look forward to more such buys in the market.”

Aditi offers high end consulting, technology and application development services to enterprise clients on the Microsoft platform. It believes the acquisition will fuel its competency in the growing search practice space with one of the largest ad monetising platforms in hand.

The company has been expanding its businesses from a pure play service provider to IP-based software solutions provider, and is looking at both organic and inorganic growth opportunities. It has operations in overseas countries as well with offices in Seattle, Boston, London and New York, besides India.
