Actis sells 5.5% stake in Dalmia Bharat Sugar & Industries

Emerging markets private equity major Actis has started exiting its seven-year-old investment in Dalmia Cement. Actis has sold 5.5 per cent stake in Dalmia Bharat Sugar & Industries (formerly Dalmia Cement Bharat) for Rs 8.27 crore through bulk deals on Thursday. The PE firm still holds 5.5 per cent stake in Dalmia Bharat Enterprises Ltd (DBEL), the demerged cement and power business of Dalmia Bharat Sugar & Industries.
