The theme of this year's conference is "Entrepreneurship Comes of Age".
TiEcon Delhi 2008, TiE Delhi's annual flagship event, kicks off on 22nd October, Wednesday and will go on till 24th October, Friday. The theme of this year's conference is "Entrepreneurship Comes of Age". While there will be keynote addresses by eminent entrepreneurs, there will also be parallel sessions addressing the challenges and opportunities in specific sectors.
Also short listed entrepreneurs will get an opportunity to present their plans to investors. The last TiEcon was held in 2006, in which three deals happened, including an acquisition.
The event is being held at Hotel Maurya Sheraton, New Delhi and VC Circle is the co-partner for the event. This is the eighth TiEcon hosted by TiE Delhi. The starting panel will be addressed by the likes of Saurabh Srivastava, Chairman Emeritus of TiE Delhi; Raman Roy of Indian Angel Network; Nirankar Saxena, Director of FICCI and others.
