Elias, an MBA from Wharton, has 14 years of experience at Morgan Stanley's Information Technology division.

Avendus Capital, a Mumbai-based investment bank, has appointed Akiva Elias as its Chief Operating Officer (COO). Elias will look after developing  the internal platform and capabilities like human resources, technology, finance and administration. Elias has  14 years of experience at Morgan Stanley's Information Technology division, where he was till recently an executive director. He is an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
