GE India's Outgoing CEO Scott Bayman Joins Stonebridge International

Scott Bayman, who recently retired as CEO of GE India, is joining Stonebridge International, an international consultancy firm that advises multinational companies on their strategies in countries like Brazil, Russia, India and China, a release said. Bayman is joining Stonebridge's India team, which already counts people like former US ambassador in India Richard Celeste and former State Bank of India chairman M S Verma, among others. Stonebridge essentially helps companies wade through the complex government policies and regulatory frameworks in BRIC countries.

Bayman has spent 14 years as head of GE India's operations, and helped it grow from a $100 million company to $3 billion in revenues and 13,000 employees now. He also sits on the boards of companies like Crompton Greaves, Punj Lloyd, and Jubilant Energy NV, The Netherlands. All this experience will be now put to use at Stonebridge.
