UTI Ventures-Funded Excelsoft To Raise Growth Capital

Mysore-based e-learning company Excelsoft Technologies Pvt Ltd is close to raising growth capital in another month. The company is in advanced stage of negotiations with private equity funds, sources said.
Excelsoft provides e-learning solutions such as consulting, content development services, product design and engineering, and custom software development. Excelsoft has clients like Pearson Education, Infosys Technologies, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Oxford University, World Bank, UNESCO.
Business Standard reports that Excelsoft has a topline of around Rs 50 crore and profits of Rs 25 crore. It further says the company may be valued in the range of Rs 350-400 crore. The company had earlier received funding from UTI Ventures' vintage 2000 fund.
