DGB Microsystems, an Indian mobile device design and manufacturing company, has received $8.5 million funding from Clearstone Venture Partners and SIDBI Venture Capital. This is the first round of funding for the Bangalore-based company which is essentially in the business of designing and manufacturing mobile handset solutions.

According to Red Herring, Clearstone has contributed $5 million while SIDBI has put in $3.5 million in this round. The company was founded in 2004.
