Spentex Industries Ltd, manufacturers of cotton yarn, issued shares worth Rs 70.3 crore Rs 81 crore to Citigroup Venture Capital International.

The company on Thursday said that it would allot 1.75 crore-equity shares and 17.50 lakh convertible warrants to Mauritius-based Citigroup Venture Capital and 27.50 lakh equity shares and 2.75 lakh convertible warrants to the promoters.

The shareholders at the EGM have approved to issue 1.75 crore equity shares at Rs 36.54 per share and 17.50 lakh convertible warrants at Rs 36.54 per warrant to Citigroup Venture Capital, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange. (Via Sify)
